Crow Hill 2 GP Rd. 14 – Race Report

JDAY Offroad kicked off Round 5 of the E-Bike, Pitbike, and Stacyc series at Crow Hill MX on October 5th. The E-Bike race includes two classes; modded and stock. This race is sponored by Amped, the 20-minute moto starts at 3:00 with the Modded class first off the line. Kayden Kudzal grabbed the holeshot and off into the woods. In the Stock class, Andrew Acton grabbed the holeshot. After twenty minutes of battles and broken bikes, Elias Whitney took the overall in the Modded E-Bike Class with Kayden Kudzal in 2nd and Vinny Minichiello in 3rd. In the Stock class, Quinn Maloney won the overall with Crue Hopkins in Second and Kylie Kulpa in 3rd. 4:00 started the Modded and Stock Pit Bike classes for their separate 25-minute motos this weekend. Modded off the line first with Jeremy Martin with the holeshot. Marshall Macintyre and Martin were battling for the first-place spot to the finish. Marshall Macintyre came in first, Jeremy Martin in 2nd and Matthew McDermott in 3rd. The Stock class was next with Joshua Cavar snagging the holeshot and leading to the end. Cole Freeman came in 2nd and Adam Ricci in 3rd. Under the lights this weekend for the Stacyc race. 22 kids lined up for the 16e Stacyc race at 6:30. Bryan Supp Ramos came in first with Henrique Goncalves in 2nd and Kyler Bonille in 3rd. The 12e Stacyc race had 17 racers, with Santi Cudal winning once again, and one step closer to the championship. Colton Reed came in 2nd and Abel Druzibicki in 3rd. Benjamin Kelly wins overall in the Open Stacyc class with Benjamin Kelly in 2nd and Reece Campbell in 3rd. The Strider class completes one lap with Lincoln Girourard taking the win. Round 6 is at Mohawk GP on October 19th.
The sun was shining and the trees were turning color for this beautiful weekend at Crowhill Mx. JDAY Offroad put on another awesome event with people parked in every nook and cranny this weekend. PeeWee Senior line up first with their 8 am moto. Samuel Teixeria is off the line first with the Fox racing holeshot. Sawyer Langenback was able to take the lead by the end of lap one and take the first-place position on the podium. Jack Ford came in second and Crue Hopkins came in 3rd. Sawyer Langenback goes into Round 15 of the series with a 24vpoint lead on Jack Ford. Next off the line is PeeWee Bantam with Teagan Tucker securing the win, Michael Cimochowski in 2nd, and Rockson Melise in 3rd. PeeWee Trail Rider was won by David Alipio while Kaelyn Levesque won in the PeeWee Girls class. PeeWee Squirt was won by Bryan Supp Ramos and Brooks Makowsky takes the overall in the PeeWee Electric class.
Kamden Krause had two motos of great starts and was able to lead 9 out of 10 laps completed in the Supermini class. Am Pro Racing backed rider Colton McQuarrie finished moto 1; 0.01 seconds behind Krause. Moto two COlton and Kamden finished at the same time, leaving Kamden with the Overall. Colton McQuarrie came in second and Landon Nowak came
in 3rd for the day. Mini A was won by Tucker Aldrich who led every lap of each moto. Mini B was won by Plaistow Powersports rider Sebastian Tucker. Girls class was won by Mallory Pickard who also won the Girls Overall award.
Joshua Cavar won the C250 class and the C Class Overall Award. Cole Freeman came in 2nd OA and Jack Staly came in 3rd. C 200 was won by Noah Urena who led all 10 laps completed between moto 1 and 2. C Open was won by Nolan Toohey with Pierre Ribeiro in 2nd and Mattheus Andrade in 3rd. Women Pro class was up next with Trail Jester’s rider Addison Harris starting Moto 1 with the holeshot. Addison led every lap of Moto 1 and led the first 4 laps of Moto 2 before Ruby Fustini made a pass for first on the last lap going 2 -1 for the Overall on the day. Ruby Fustini finished 1st with the Women’s Overall Award, Addison Harris in second, and Melony Pickard in 3rd. Ruby Fustini currently leads the class by 9 points on Addison Harris going into the last two rounds of the GP series. Women’s Amature class was won by Mallory Pickard who had two winning motos this weekend. Leo Candidus Won the Overall in the Super Senior Class and John Malloy won the Masters class.
Pro A/125 was lined up once again with Yamahas dominating the field once again with 8 out of 13 racing on a Yamaha. Brandon Gregoire shot off the line like a rocket on his Blu Cru Yamaha. Brandon was able to hold his first place position to the checkered flag. Simon Johnson in 2nd for Moto 1 and Brayden Nolette 3rd in Moto 1, finished 2 seconds from eachother. Moto 2 Brandon Gregoire was able to ride his way from start to finish in first making the course look effortless. Brayden Nolette was holding off Simon Johnson’s second moto with Jonson less than 10 seconds behind the first 3 laps until the last two where he could spread out the gap a little more. Pro A 125 was won by Brandon Gregoire who currently leads the class by 10 points. Brayden Nolette sat in second and Plaistow Powersports Rider Simon Johnson in 3rd. Yamaha Blu Cru swept the podium this weekend.
Owen Pouliot was able to lead every lap on moto 1 and 2 taking the overall in B250 and B Class Overall for the day. B 200 was won by Dylan Sharpe who went 2-2 having both moto1 and 2 having different winners. Cory Stolarski took home the win in the B Open, followed by Porter Breton and Lathan Koprusak to round out the podium. Andy Mathieu won in the A Senior class battling with Daryl Cyr and Emerson Cayer who rounded out the top 3 podium spots. An exciting battle was going on between Kawan Matiola, Colton McQuarrie, and Jonathan Alipio. Kawan 9/10 laps completed for the day. Jean Costacurta was able to take home the win in B Veteran. A Veteran was on by Brett Grimes who won moto 1 and 2. Ryan Bliven won the A 200 class with Alex Phaneuf right behind. The A250 class was won by Oliver Cortis who also secured the A Overall award at the nightly podiums.
Pro AA was full of action this weekend between FMF KTM Factory rider Ben Kelley, Points leader Brandon Gregoire, and Crow Hill star Robby Marshall. Kyle Hangos started the moto off strong with the Fox Racing holeshot keeping him in first until the third lap where Robby Marshall took the lead for two more laps keeping Brandon off his tail until Brandon was able to secure to moto win passing Marshall on the second to last lap for first. Ben Kelley took the
second moto 1 being on Brandon’s rear wheel for the last laps of the raceand Robby Marshall took 3rd. Moto two was close once again with Robby Marshall seen whipping over the first table top on the track with a huge lead on the field. Ben Kelley finished lap one in first, riding his way to the finish for the Pro AA Overall. Robby Marshall came in second while Brandon Gregoire started the moto off last and made his way to 3rd by lap 3. The Overall for the day was Ben Kelley in 1st, Brandon Gregoire in 2nd and Robby Marshall in 3rd. Brandon Gregoire continues to lead the Pro AA class with a 41 point lead on Simon Johnson and a 73 point lead on Brayden Nolette going into Round 15 of 16 Rounds for JDay Offroad 2024 Season.
