JDay Off-Road is back for Round 13 of their 16-round GP series. We were up in beautiful New Hampshire for Buccaneer GP at NHMX this past weekend. PeeWee started bright and early at 8 am for their 40-minute moto. First off the line is PeeWee Senior as the Fox Flag sweeps the air. Nathan Salgado is hot off the start with a great holeshot to start the moto off strong. By the end of lap one Sawyer Langenback is in first with Crue Hopkins and Aj Verdile hot on his tail. Sawyer had an impressive moto leading every lap and finishing with a 26 second lead. Crue Hopkins and Aj Verdile had a great battle all Moto trading spots on the podium. Sawyer Finished on the top of the box for the day with Crue Hopkins in second and Aj Verdile in 3rd. Going into round 14 Sawyer sits 1st in points with 280, Jack Ford in second with 259 and Crue Hopkins in 3rd with 251. PeeWee Trail Rider was won by Joey Ford, Teagan Tucker won PeeWee Bantam, and Kaelyn Levesque won in the PeeWee girl’s class. Bryan Supp Ramos wins in the PeeWee Squirt class and Brooks Mankowsky wins in the Electric class being able to win the championship 3 races early! Congrats!
Moto 2 started at 9 am with Supermini on the first line, Evan Worthington of A&E Racing grabbed the holeshot. AM Pro Racing rider Colton McQuarrie had a great moto leading every lap of the moto to the checkered flag. Kamden Krause was comfortable in second all moto and Evan Worthington finished third moto 1. Moto 2 had some different kids up front with Colton McQuarrie leading every lap once again, Landon Nowak in 2nd and Dj Leblanc finishing third. Colton McQuarrie topped the podium today with Landon Nowak in 2nd and Evan Worthington in 3rd. Mini A was won by Tucker Aldrich while Mini B was won by Tyler Del Mauro. Girl’s class was a great moto with lots of battles. Mallory Pickard swept both motos going 1-1 for the Girls overall and Girls overall award. Second place was Kendyl Gaetani going 2-3 who traded spots with Madison Rougeau going 3-2 for third overall on the day.
C250 was awesome to watch the top 3 places battle it out each moto for the overall. Moto 1 Curtis Wheeler grabbed the holeshot and by the end of lap one Jack Staly was in first. Jack was able to lead 3 laps until Josh Cavar made the pass and finished Moto 1 in first. Moto 2 Jack led Moto 1 but Josh was able to pass on the second lap, leaving Jack and Cole Freeman to battle for the 2nd and 3rd positions. Joshua Cavar in 1st, Cole Freeman in 2nd, and Jack Staly in 3rd for the day. C200 was won by Noah Urena and C Open was won by Pierre Ribeiro.
Womens Pro always has a battle with Ruby Fustini and Addison Harris for the first-place spot. Moto 1 Ruby led laps 1-3 while Addison led laps 4-6. Moto 2 Addision led laps 1 and two before Ruby took over the lead for the Overall win. Trail Jester’s rider Addison Harris went 2nd on the day and Mellony Pickard was 3rd to round out the podium. Women’s Amature class was won by Girls class winner Mallory Pickard. Nathan Martel won in the Super Senior Class and John Malloy got the Overall in the Masters class.
Pro125 had a lineup of 7 Yamahas for this race. Brandon Gregoire was on top of his starts today pulling the Fox Racing holeshot. Brandon was able to stay in the lead through lap
one until Justin Cokinos took the lead for laps 2 to 5 while on the last lap, Brandon was able to make the pass back to first. Brayden Nolette secured 3rd place for Moto 1. Moto 2 Justin Cokinos was strong off the start leading laps 1 to 3. Brandon was hot on his tail in the woods until lap 4 when Brandon made the pass back to first place winning Moto 2. Simon Johnson sat in 3rd for Moto 2. The podium for the day was Brandon Gregoire in 1st, Justin Cokinos in 2nd, and Simon Johnson in 3rd. Brandon Gregoire sits 1st in points going into round 14 with 276; 5 points ahead of Simon Johnson, 2nd in points.
A&E Backed rider Owen Pouliot was able to take the overall in the B250 class leading 12/12 laps and winning the B Overall award. B200 winner Dylan Sharpe went back and forth with Aiden Sweeney each moto for the overall. B Open was won by Porter Breton who went 1-1 in both motos. Jonathan Gagnon aboard an older Suzuki wins in the Vintage class while Kaden Houle wins in the Non-CHamionship Sportsman class.
A Senior Points leader Andy Mathieu wins in the A Senior class once again going 1-1 on the day with Robert Langenback in 2nd and Daryl Cyr in 3rd. School Boy (12-17) was won by AM Pro Racing rider Colton Mcquarrie who won in the Supermini class as well. Colton Led every lap while Jonathan Alipio sat in second for the day and Patrick Gougeon in 3rd to round out the podium. Clinton Angwin won the overall in the A Vet class and Jiggs Fustini won in the A250 class. Jiggs was also the A Overall award winner today while wrapping up the championship 3 races early! Congrats! A Open was won by Matt Webb who also went 1-1 on the day.
Pro AA panned out very similar to ProA/ 125. While being up in New Hampshire the weather worked in our favor getting hot towards the pro moto with bright sun. The foliage was starting to peak through for great views. Brandon Gregoire started the moto off strong once again with his effortless holeshots. Brandon was able to go 1-1 in the Pro class with a 50-second lead in both motos. Justin Cokinos sat in second both motos with Plaistow Powersports rider Simon Johnson hot on his tail. Justin was able to hold down second place leaving Simon in 3rd for the day. Going into Round 14 at Crow Hill MX the points standings aren’t as close as they are in the Pro 125 class. Brandon Gregoire sits 1st with 291 points, Simon Johnson in 2nd with 257 points, and Brayden Nolette in 3rd with 224 points. Anything can happen in these last 3 rounds which will make for some great race watching.
